I recently got a 2012 HSE from South Africa. It has everything EXCEPT heated seats! That seemed odd for car with all the bells and whistles. I live in Lesotho, where temperatures get below zero degrees in winter.

I have not taken it back to the seller to check if the cables were repurposed and seat heat buttons covered? Sounds like overdo, but I was wondering if anyone was the wiser as to whether HSE can come with no heated seats??

*addition: I just read in one post that all LRs come with heated seats from factory, and all I would need to do is get is change the buttons? Can anyone confirm?

Middle East here, highest trim LR4 in this market - no heated seats.
you will never ever ever use heated seats or the heater for that matter in Dubai.

My 2012 Sport has heated seats but , the switch is on the side of the seats and the ac/heating console does not have any buttons. I wonder if it was after market, I bought it used? I am looking to replace the heating console but can not find a replacement that only has boot release, hazard and parking.
