Looking for a code reader and scan tool. Thoughts on the autel al619? Will it read and clear all land rover faults including the slabs? Does it five real time data like temp? If so it seems reasonably priced.

Thanks

If you are only working on Land Rovers, BlackBox Solutions is the BEST provider of diagnostic platforms.

If you want something that does a little bit of everything, Snap-On.
Thanks PT. The problem with Black Box is they are quite expensive. The snap on top of the line scanner is also expensive. The snap on standard OBII code reader is relatively cheap at $160 but the web site doesn't say much about what is actually does. So probably does not interact with abs and such.
The Ethos+ is the lowest level scanner that will do that stuff, but you'll have to add the Euro for another $350.

The AL619 will read and clear all ABS and SRS codes, as well as read and clear all OBD-II codes once it is updated by the user. This is easy to do and is described elsewhere in this forum. The live data I'm not so sure on since I haven't tried it, but if Autel says it does, it probably does. They have good US support with East and West Coast offices. I have called them and they were very helpful.

I've had my Autel AL619 for maybe a week, and and well pleased with it. $160 at Amazon.
The Autel AL619 reads live data. would be nice to have a scan guage for constant data monitoring. I've had mine for about a year and have been really happy with it.
Autel md-802
Awesome tool
Can read all modules including a.b.s transmission and suspension (air suspension and a.c.e.) one step better than the al619 and almost as capable as the 700 series
