I have a 03 Disco2. I let my son borrow the car and he lost the only remote after he locked the doors.

Land Rover made me a new key ($330) but the outside door lock wont open the door, must be broke.

I sent another locksmith to the car ($150) and they could not get into the vehicle no matter what they tried.

I have to use the remote to open the door.

Land Rover said that I would have to tow ($250) the car to the dealership with a flat bed so they can program the remote.

They have to get into the inside of the car to program the remote so is there any other way to program it besides breaking out a window ($$$$) ????

If you were extremely meticulous, you could hook a jumper cable to the positive post onto the hot post on the starter which would then send power through the truck and you could clear the alarm faults and open the door.
