New from Florida

Hello everyone I'm new to Land Rovers in general but I have gone to school for 2 years studying auto mechanics, so I am mechanically inclined and know what I am getting myself into lol. I am looking to purchase my first Land Rover Discovery and was wondering if you guys could give me any tips on buying or things I should be looking out for. What I am currently looking for is a Disco 1 with a manual transmission. Color of interior or exterior does not matter as long as it doesn't have rust. I know obviously rust is a concern but what are common faults besides the overheating/coolant leak issue?
