new rear view mirror

I just picked up a mint mirror out of a 1994 ranger rover that has 2 map lites and auto dim features. Can I hard wire this into my disco so the functions will work or can I use the switches that in the headliner for my sunroof controls I have no sunroofs .. Let me know my disco mirror is the only part inside that has any signs of wear ..thanks
