I love it.

Now I just need to paint my lugnuts.

If you notice, I ripped off the lame arse tin caps Land Rover had to dress the lugs up with.
EFF those things, they are nothing but trouble when I go and get my tires rotated.

New BFG 265/70 16 AT's (163) with my stock 16" (350) rims powder coated Evil Black.
It looks so militant and utilitarian now.
On teh way home, two other rover couples actaully waved back at me. They never did before, guess I look like I stole the vehicle rather then actually own it, LOL

Later. :D

The glass was factory tinted light all around,
then I put medium on the front drivers and passenger windows and limo tint on the rest.
Where I live it gets to 118 at times during the summer so I wanted it as cool as possible.
The tint shop put on a metalized film that screws up the radio reception but that was beside the point since I only listen to my sirius satelite when Im in her.

Thanks fo rthe compliments, I really felt like I did the first day I bought her when I rolled her home yesterday. I keep going outside to look at it at different times of teh day.
Next im having the highway pocked hood painted satin black. Almost like a shiny black primer color.
Then the 2 inch lift and the bumpers.
After that she should be done.

No lift yet (getting 2 in lift soon though)
2000 SD I believe, the stickers were peeled off when I bought it and someone at Land Rover Mission Viejo said it was a SD
No rub as I pull out the incline drive.

Still have to freeway test them.......

Nice...

Sharky,

Those wheels are the heat. I have been wondering whether to powder coat my stock 16's on my black Disco, and after seeing yours, I'm going to do it.

Sweet!!!! :D I'm not sure the SD's came with the body color paint on the front valance not to mention foglights and headlamp washers (despite some SE's having all black bumpers i.e mine) If you bought it like that, then the dealership could be wrong. Thats at the very least an SE trim. If your interior is anything other than black, I'm assuming your steering wheel is two tone and the piping on the edges of the seats is darker than the leather seats themselves, then its not an SD. BTW the 2000 model did not come with decals that indicate the trim level. Nice job on those rims. If your wheel caps have the green logo, you may want to sell those and get the ones with the black logo and silver lettering, new from roverconnection.com
