Just installed a 2" RTE Body lift and new RTE springs and OME shocks for a 2" Suspension lift. Now I need to decide on what size tires to run? I am thinking of running BFG A/T's but can't decide on which size. I have seen several post suggesting 265's but I am wondering if they may be too big.
Anyone got any suggestions?

With 2" of body lift & 2" of suspension lift the 265's won't be too big.

Look at my thread on show it off and you will see my 2000 Disco with 265 70 16's on my stock Rover.

I plan on lifting it 2 inches but for now it harly rubs, and rides like a dream

I have the BFG AT's as well...

I just put 265/75/16 MT's on my D1 with a 2 inch OME lift. No rubbing when onroad, trimmed a little for offroad. Runs like a dream on both.

Ah---you may have a problem w/ the rear quarter panels on a DI running 265's with 2" lift. I have seen this myself w/ DI's on OME suspension. Unless RTEs 2" lift puts you higher than OME you'll have that problem. You won't notice on-road but you may come down hard on those rear quarters off-road. Best bet is to bend 'em back, but I don't have pics of this. Worst case is they'll get bent back for you off-road w/ no real harm done.
