Firstly, so you all know I love my 95 LWB! Tricked her up nicely and just love the look of her. Only one like it around here........However....I am married! :D

The missus complains about the road noise...anyone with one will know what I mean, when the peddle is to the metal, over 60mph!

Anyone know of any good fixes....trouble and strife (wife) is gonna make me sell....wants me to buy the 2002 4.6HSE model. I don't want to buy a yuppie mobile I wont want to get dirty! No offense to anyone!:buttrock:

ANY IDEAS????....ps I replaced the headliner and insulated there.

CHEERS!

Noise Reduction???

Hi,
Wow! I have never heard of anyone mention noise problems from the "newer" Range Rovers. I am suprised that you are having problems with a 1995 model.
They are very well insulated from the factory.
What kind of tires are you running?

I find my 91 RRC super quiet, (maybe its just coming from a soft top series 11a that makes it feel quiet!!)

Noises

If it is road noise try using some type of sound deadening material such as dynamat or equivelant. If it is wind noise maybe you have a couple of bad door seals.

If that doesn't work, keep the Classic and trade in for a new wife. :D

Tires first.
What else makes a lot of noise. My catalytic converters are shot so they rattle like I dropped a rod. If it's wind noise. Roll down the wind and grab the window frame and pull it into the truck. This is a common noise spot and just needs a little re-alignment.
