Haven't had a chance to run the code, but I started my 02 disco yesterday and heard a noise like a blowdryer coming from the passenger side wheel or firewall. Went away after 2 min so I shook it off. On way home it happened again and went off, this time the check engine light was tripped. Any thoughts?

If you have SAI - I'd bet 50c on that being the problem. Post the code when you read it

Possible causes
- Faulty Secondary Air Injection (SAI) Vacuum Solenoid Valve
- Intake air leak
- Blocked SAI System hoses
- SAI Vacuum Solenoid Valve harness is open or shorted
- SAI Vacuum Solenoid Valve circuit poor electrical connection

Possible symptoms
- Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light)

P1412 Land-rover Description
The secondary air injection pump relay is located in the engine compartment fusebox. The Engine Control Module (ECM) is used to control the operation of the SAI pump via the SAI pump relay. Power to the coil of the relay is supplied from the vehicle battery via the main relay and the ground connection to the coil is via the ECM.
