Hi all,

I have been looking at getting into an L322 for a while now; my usual method of buying cars is to find one "beyond reasonable repair" and bring it back to life. This has worked well so far for various aging Audis, Jags, etc. Before you doubt whether I have the chops to tackle a basket case RR, I assure you I will be fine.

If certain automotive journo's are to be believed, there should be an abundance of L322s lying around in disrepair. But in NZ, there aren't. Even the roughest examples on Trade Me are in working order, with nothing but supermarket scratches and worn drivers seat bolsters to show their accomplishment.

So my question is this: where do all the dead RRs go?

I know they are far more reliable than people say, but where are the cars which died a death before their 300,000km brothers? There must be a graveyard somewhere, and I would love to resurrect one of its inhabitants.

Ta ta for now.

Welcome to the forum.
Don’t have any real advice for you in N.Z. But wish you luck in your search.
Maybe contact a local Auto Recycle and ask their advice
