I have a weird problem with my OBD connector. I went to download my engine codes and reset the light, and my scanner would not power up. It worked fine on another vehicle. I took it to autozone to use their self powered scanner, and it would not work either. I tested all the fuses using a multimeter, and all are fine. My battery is also fully charged. I shot the power wire through the plug itself, and it was only reading 10 volts. I figured the connector must be bad, so I ordered an aftermarket one, and cut the old one out. I tested the wire, and it is reading 12 volts. Once I installed the new connector, it is still not powering the scanner, and the power plug is only reading 10 volts. Any ideas, or has anyone had or seen this problem before?
