All,

Just installed that oil filter sandwich adapter.

Write-Up: Mechanical Oil Pressure Gauge (Rev. 1 and 2) | #landroverlove

It was super easy, and the quality is awesome!

More importantly, I say a 3 psi increase in pressure on my gauge after the install from the oil cooler port to the adapter.

That is all.

The adapter should not give you an increase in pressure.
What are your current reading cold at idle and 2000 RPM's and again when hot at idle and 2000 RPMs?

My oil pressure is fine, trust me on this one mike. We've talked at length about improper readings out of that port.

A number of people in the past were getting bad reading and after talking to the manufacture they found that a havier gauge wire made the gauge more accurate.
