2008 LR2, Getting "gas cap loose or missing" warning on dash, pulled code, P0442, small evap leak. Any suggestions on where to start looking?

Looks like everything is hidden in the wheel well right rear tire.

Update, light is still not off, I've even bought a diagnostic scanner to read and clear codes, it comes back on. Thinking I may try this: LAND ROVER FUEL TANK VALVE DIAGNOSTIC WTR500030. For $100 it's cheaper than dealer diagnose fee and then what they'd want for a new part?

Exact same issue here. 2008 LR2. Anyone? I really do not want to go pay for a vacuum test. Had thought I had read a comment elsewhere about purge valve solenoid being a possible cause. Thoughts please?
I ended up with a $20 code scanner from Amazon and just turn the light off when needed, ie, wife was thinking of trading it in. Now she'll drive it another year. I'll turn it off again around trade in time as needed, light stays off about 2 weeks. Amazon.com: Autel (MaxiScan MS309) OBD-II Code Reader / Scan Tool: Automotive
