I have an 03 Disco. I drove it in to my garage to replace a water pump. Only cranks over now. P1668 is the code that is setting. I have spent $400 on two independent shops with towing to diagnose the problem. Both shop say no compression on engine. Temp gauge never got over half. Please help! both keys have fobs attached.

For that code you must find somebody with a dedicated D2 tester to be able to communicate directly with the BCU, a generic scanner won't help cos it's about the immobiliser security code communication between the BCU and engine ECU... though just to rule it out unplug and bridge the pins in the inertia switch's connector and make sure that the crank sensor's wiring was not disturbed during the work
