Hey everyone just got back from my two month camping trip to washington state and back to texas it was great and the 04 disco ran like a champ! however, it over heats every now and then. after research Im imagining the water pump is leaking and or not working up to par. each time I've released the pressure from the 3 way plastic piece (which I would also like to replace with metal or something) so what do you guys advise? where do you guys buy your parts? :drink1:

Might want to use a infared no contact thermometer and check your radiator as well, if it's original and had dexcool in it all these years it's probably half clogged by now with crap.

I think army rover is actually reffering to a too that reads external temperature
(It's kind of Locke a littler hand held "gun" with a lazier pointer and will read surface temp.
