Ok, has my fancy-shmancy electronic coil antennae in the back gone and stopped working on me, or is this design just bad? My stations come in weak. Any ideas?

No it's crap. I can't get AM stations.

no loose anything. I had the headliner out, and checked it. I checked at the radio too, plugged in.

did you try switching the plugs.. you should have two recepters on the back of the radio.. one antenna for am and the other for fm.. both are located on either side of the rear side windows. check the connections there too..

There is an amplifier on the right side under the headliner. It's dead. They go bad occassionally. when they're working the window antenna works well. You may be able to get a new one from LR, but it's easier just to mount a conventional whip on the decker panel.
