Rear door actuator. 2000 Disco 2

The rear door will only occasionally unlock with the key. It has bee good until about 3 weeks ago, then suddenly ceased operating. Last week it came good for a few days but now I have to crawl over the back seat and open the door with the interior handle.
Any ideas on a fix?

Rear Door

Remove the land rover badge from the rear this will give you access to the inner lock mechanism, clean and lubricate and you will be good to go.:drive:

Kumbarilla, I have the same issue with my rear door. Did the cleaning/lubrication work out for you?
