Any one have water getting in and rusting the number plate lights on the rear door? cant see where its getting in but but the metal where the 2 screws hold on the lens covers have rusted away (its only 2 1/2 years old) the lenses are coverd in yellow rust producing a very dull light.

any help guys

Wow.. can't say that I have seen that before. Sounds like a bad seal to me. That might be a labor intensive seal to replace too..

I think it might be time for you to pull out the silicone.......could get in there and start sealing stuff up that you think is leaking.

Btw, I have never heard of this also.

To get behind you will have to pry off the back of the door. There are several little red grometts that you will have to pull back with a screw driver. I would cover it in tape so you dont scratch anything. Just be careful...its almost impossible not to break some of the grometts, just try to keep it under 5.
