Does anyone have pictures of their front recovery points?

After my recent episode of getting stuck I've been wondering what to do about recovery in the front. I know I can buy a new bumper but wonder if anyone has recovery points with out a spiffy new bumper.

I want to ask if anyone had ever considered a winch mounted on a two inch hitch so you could swap it to the back or front as needed.

Comments?

Exactly!!!!
But they don't make one for the Range Rover. I guess some engineering will be called for.

I"ve fitted a recovery hook which is bolted to the chassis. It shares the two common holes that the factory bullbar is bolted to and does not in anyway cause the airbags to deploy.

No airbags to mess with.
After seeing your post and reading another forum with very similar questions being answered. I ran down to the local salvage yard and got two really beefy hooks from a Suburban. I know they never used them  .

Anyway the project will make a good write up on my site. If I can get the FTP working again.

Thanks for the tips.

They never used it because if you take a suburban to a trail maybe three things will happen:
- One, it will get stuck because it weights like 7 tons
- Two, the suburban is so wide that it will not fit in the trail
- It will run out of gas BEFORE it gets to the trail

hehehe
