Last spring, after some weeks of rain in Arizona, I went out with some members of AZLRO and needless to say, it was a tough day. Arizona trails don't take rain well, and my then stock Disco didn't take mud any better. After alot of winching we made it off the trail, 10 hours for 13 miles! Since then I've been looking for a good hitch reciever mounted recovery shackle. Where can I find one without paying $50+ at EE, atlantic Brit. etc. like at a hardware store? Where can I find one that locks in place?(high theft risk area). Thanks

If any of you have a store called Tractor Supply company any where near you, check it out. They have the same type of receiver shackle along with heavy duty D-shackles, an awesome selection of tow straps( the best is the 6inch wide by 30 footer :buttrock: ) at very reasonable prices. They also stock Warn winches! If anyone is located in the upper midwest try looking at a place called Fleet/Farm or also Farm and Fleet same great selection.

Check out the Jate rings on the Hummer H3, they're the heaviest I have ever seen. I realize it's part of the Hummer image thing, but they bolt on (flat surface) so they might be pretty good on an ARB bumper.

Yeah, I noticed those the other day. Fat ass suckers man.

This morning, while dropping off the boys at school in the "monster truck", I saw an H2 with about a 6 inch lift, had a lot of body armour on it. Looked pretty cool if I must admit.....wait for it....wait for it....spinners. Yup, freakin' spinners. I had to laugh out loud.

That is soo funny! You really had my hopes up there RoverX. What might have been possibly the first off-road modified H2! ?:dunno: Nope  He had to rock the Spinners! Every time I hear a story like that I feel so much better about my $5 "H2 Recovery Vehicle" sticker on my dirty, decrepid, DI.
BTW. Thanks for the advice guys.

Side Note, ESPN College Game Day at ASU Vs. USC :buttrock:
