is there a way to change the battery in my remote for keyless entry without going to the dealer. Mine is weak, i have to be standing right at the vehicle for the remote to work and i figure that the battery is low. any input would be appreciated!

what did it take... did that help the range in which you can stand to lock/unlock. mine has been pretty weak for about a year now.....I have to be in front of her or right beside her to get it to work....

Yeah I changed the Battery In mine , but still I have to be like 5' away from the truck to open it .

you guys both know about the thing where if you hold it close to your head or jaw it works further? My record is about 60ft....not kidding.

Don't know about jawbone amplification of the signal, but my remote works from about 60 feet away when i have a clear shot. (distance from my disco to the underground garage entrance)
Other times, enhh... I keep pressing the button as I approach and it works when I am 10 feet away.
