Hi,

I bought a landrover sport 2 years ago from Landrover Stirling (second hand) and I'm having a really bad experience with them.
I have few questions if someone can help me with, I've done a full service on December and I've done 1500 miles since then but few weeks ago I started filling the breaks are not working properly so I took the car to Stirling and they said to me that the car has multiple faults with the breaks and I have to fix it ASAP.
I can't believe that those faults weren't there 1500 miles ago.
My concern is it is really worth it to take your landrover to the landrover garage for anything or it's better just to go to a local garage.

Thanks.

Land Rover dealerships typically will gouge you every chance they get

a good indie mechanic is your best bet, but they really have to A) know their stuff and B) also not gouge you

the problem with LR is that they have so many strange and difficult to diagnose issues. Even if the repair is simple, you’re paying a premium for somebody’s experience, having spent enough time working on LR to really understand them.
