I just wanted to post this. I had to leave my Rover at the house because of the milage issue. I was sooooo sad to have to leave her. Anyway, no damage to my or my family's houses. :buttrock: My Disco is safe, no damage either. :D I feel for any of you from houston who got stuck in that crap! I also feel for anyone who was affected by Rita and lost their homes. .....By the way someone lost their nice Disco 1 on the side of the road in Lousiana :bawling: It was for sale too!!!! I hope it is not anyone on this forum.!! Any way I am going back to a semi-together town. It is nice to be going back home. :drink1:

Glad to hear that you and your family are OK(as well as your L.R.).

I'm up in Canada, quite a distance from where you are. We have had a few groups from Calgary and other parts of Canada head south to help. Paramedics, Fire and Police volunteers as well. We have all been following the plight of the lower US with concern and most up here have contributed cash to various agencies. My family donated cash to The Red Cross that was earmarked for your area and New Orleans. We also donated good quality used clothing to be given to the victims down there.

I hope that the rest of the year goes trouble free for you folk down there.

Best Wishes
Ed
