Hello to all.
Just noticed a rumble in the '00 Disco II, 216K miles, at about 65 mph. Sounds like the sound my dad's car made when I was a kid and he had snow tires on dry pavement.
I have replaced the front drive shaft a while back w/ a Tom Woods shaft. The rumble does sound like a tire noise, but never noticed it until now. It for the most part disappears below 60 mph, and stays consistent, not varying with acceleration, load or no load.
I am one of those people who doesn't have the stereo blaring, but just likes to listen to the truck as I drive.
Any thoughts as to where I might begin to look?
Thanks!!
