My LR3 is 10 years old now. It's been the best most reliable Rover I have ever encounter and I am planing to keep it for a while. I would like to take care of some of the superficial rust before winter.
Any good anti rust sprays out there? So I can do this in my shared garage.
Anyone used Dintrol here in the US?
Thanks,
Dave

Dintrol and Waxoyl are probably the two big ones here. 3M makes a product that is sprayed inside of the frame rails called Rust Fighter. You could also scuff the affected areas and paint them, then paint the whole frame. I painted the frame of my '86 F150 with Rustoleum Industrial Enamel in a spray can. It's been nearly a year and it looks like I just did it - no peeling or flaking. All I did was wash the frame and spray, no sanding or scuffing.
