Just purchased a 2001 Discovery II. I love it! One problem is the seat has a split in the perforated area. (No wise remarks). Can this be fixed, or can an original equipment cover be purchased?

Try a good seat repair shop, they can either repair it, put in an insert or you can buy a new seat cover from Rover.

Thanks Mike. The seat sectioning sounds like the most economical option. Priced the bottom seat cover from LD $450. Upolsterer can replace the section for $175 or repair the split for $75 (but the repair will be visible).
