Screw the neighbors, especially if they can't understand that it is far more practical to have all your spares in one tidy package. Makes perfect sence to me. I'm now trying to convince my wife that I need a spare XD, in addition to our other 5 Landies.

Agreed - You have to be a rover person to understand the "Rover Experience" - I know I would get a bunch of raggin' from my mates for having two identical rovers!!

Carlos,

The female owner lives and works in the Bay Area and also commutes to Lake Tahoe every weekend as she is a snowboard instructore there. She used the Rover to go to Tahoe... Anyhow, about 6 months ago the engine gave out. She had the Lake Tahoe Rover Dealer put in a new 4.0 engine. Shortly before that the transfer case was replaced. The exhaust has been replaced, and 3 months ago the EAS computer was replaced. She spent around $10k on it in the last 6 monhts. Finally she decided she wanted something more reliable and bought a new Subaru Outback.

She was asking $5350 and we settled on $4900...

The first one that I have will be a parts mule for a couple months at most. All I am going to do is switch the Discovery wheels and tires I have on it, some interior bits and then I plan to sell it for around $5k.. so I don't plan to have 2 of em for too long.
