Hi,

When I turn off the land rover discovery 2002 it chimes and the service engine, oil and battery lights stay on even with the key out. It starts fine and rives fine with no lights on, but when I turn it off I get that issue. Also when i try and lock the car the horn blows. Any ideas? Thanks!

The ignition switch might be stuck closed in pos II, to rule it out unplug the switch from the fusebox(C0028) and if this stops the warnings replace the switch

The switch should come with the harness to plug back into the fuse box. It's not a matter of wiring, the contact points in the switch are more than likely shorting together. The honk is saying there is a "fault" that the rover won't be fully secured. Like if the door or hood is open.
