Help me out here, my 98 Dicso does not have the words "Land Rover" written on the front of the hood (bonnet as the Brits say). Does this mean that it has been in an accident, repaired and not re-labled? Or that it never had a label at all.

So far I have yet to see another LR of any type without the logo on the front.

Thoughts/comments?

Did the rover get re-painted at any point? If it did, the words are simply a decal that could have been scraped off during the sanding process. You can buy them at www.roversnorth.com in the "Decals" page

Yep, that's it. So your truck probably underwent a too close encounter with something, or just got paint damage of some sort.You can buy the whole decals letters as stated and it's a real easy to fit.

There are plenty of vendors for the decals. I just bought CHROME decals for my Buluga Black Discovery 1. I got just the gummy remains on my hood so as soon as the weather cooperates, I will be doing them in CHROME.
