Just did heads on my 2000 disco 2 and also did my timing chain and gaskets.. well got it all buttoned up and everthing went well now I turned it over for the first time and it was slow to start and the I had to nurse it to get it to operating temp and now its got a low rough idle after putting it in gear and accelerates very slow. As soon as I got on my street not even going20 the check engine light started flashing. Any thoughts???? Finally got my baby going and noe this happens... gotta live a Disco. What could this be?m

Have you double checked the timing?

Using a timing light you can check your timing.

Check to make sure your alternator is charging. On the RRC when the tach quits working your alternator is dead.
