Hey WCURoverD90, that pic of the D90's on the bald hill, is that the Caney Fork off-road (well forrest roads) area?

It looks like the place that "The Old North State" Landy club likes to go.
I'm think'n about wheel'n to Caney Fork in January..

Yes you are right...That is the Bald where Caney Fork trail meets up with another trail called Moses Creek. Old North State and Carolina Rovers do trail runs here twice a year or so. I have been on one the the Carolina Rovers but thats it.

Im at western carolina university-Its like 5 miles from the trails.

I think the Old North State is doing a run up to Caney Fork in middle January, I think I might have to ride with them... it looks fun, plus the bald spot for camping is key, unless it's 20 degrees at night in Jan. which it probably will be....

Yeah you should come do the trail ride. Caney fork is a neat little trail. It will be cold here in the middle of january but the sunset/sunrise up there are worth it.
