they have about 5k miles on a new set installed by dealer before i bought it. It seriously sounds like metal on metal rubbing when i get to about 10mph breaking. I took it in and they said my pads and all were about 95% still and that it might just be normal. Has anyone else had this problem or know what it might be? It gets pretty loud at times.

when I replaced my rotors to DBA preformance rotors they were screeching pretty bad too. Its been about 500 miles and now the brakes hardly squeel, if at all.

Though I didnt need it, ive heard that the brake squeel goo works good, you can pick some up from your local auto store.

The type of material makes a difference.. If you had a metallic pad installed that squeak will not go away...That is what it sounds like to me...
