Here is the scenario. My belt started squeaking recently. As soon as I drip water on the belt is goes silent. Just a few drops and completely quiet. I'm thinking there are contaminants on the belt? I have tried cleaning the belt with tooth brush and water as its spinning, no results. Do I have to buy a new belt? Or is there a fix for this? Any help much appreciated.
