I have 18" Good Year Wrangler tyres on my D2 as standard from new.
I was looking back at some old posts DiscoMike had replied to and he rubbishes them.
So what is considered to be the best tyre for road use?

Are you sure BF makes a 255.55.18? I did not find one with an agressive enough tread when I just replaced my tires. I have enjoyed my Nitto Terra Grapplers since they were installed 600 miles ago. Low noise, great traction, and a stellar price. Really, anything is better than the GoodYear Wrangler HP's.. they are horrible.

02disco2. You are correct. I just checked, and BF do not make the size in question. Oh well.....go the Nitto's!
