Just got my Disco 97' starter fixed (47,500 miles), and after leaving the shop, the check engine light went on. I immediately brought it back and the diagnostics read unknown fault. The tech reset it, and said if it goes back on again bring it back and he'll put it up and look again. It went back on after a total of 30 miles(multiple trips). They also fixed a broken exhaust stud in addition to starter. It smelled after leaving the shop, but they said it was because of the new starter and also they sprayed the exhaust stud, thus the smell.

Anyone have any ideas of what it may be or suggestions for what to say when I bring it back? Thanks a lot! Michele
