Steering column rub hoise?

Especially when cold, and after just starting, sounds like deep rubbing noise when turning the steering wheel in either direction. Sound seems more interior than exterior. Have pulled all steering covers and checked underneath, but nothing aparent.
Help! Please! its getting worse over time!

Sounds a bit like a small sea lion in Ur steering column? Mine does that too...it’s only occasional at the mo though. Some scratching and crackling too... sounds similar to electrical but its not I don’t think. Ill look into the sea lion noise today
