Hi, have noticed when turning left I get two full turns of the steering wheel but right I only get 1 1/2 turns, it is about 1 cm off the lock stop, when the steering wheel is in straight ahead position I can see what looks like a thread and locating lugs on the steering box which line up. Vehicle is a 2000 TD5. Any help appreciated.

Did you recently have any front end work or an alignment? Had to take my wife's Mazda CX-7 back 2 times after Mazda aligned the front wheels. The car actually was turning sharper in one direction than the other.

For a quick check... Look at your steering stops. see if 1 is all the way in or missing, and the other is all the way out. they are located on the backside of each steering knuckle.

When driving, is the steering wheel and front wheels tracking straight?

If you have a lift on your truck and you did not install a adjustable pan hard rod, you will experience that.
