After getting the Disco washed and a brief wax/detailing from me, I started up the rig to exit my garage and the M and S mode lights on the dash were flashing, as well as the D. I pushed the mode button and tried engaging and disengaging the transfer case.. to no avail..

I then shut the vehicle off, and restarted it, all is well.. What gives? I have never seen this happen before. :dunno: Something to be concerned about? Perhaps another run to the dealer?

Oh, I have a 2002 Disco 2 (hence the name)

Don't worry about it, something just got wet and when allowed to sit and dry it cleared itself.

Same thing happens to my LRDII when i entered in water at 40 miles/hour.
After I go out from water I turn off engine, wait for two minutes and turn it on and no problem after that.
