Got the switch upgrade. Drivers side didn't work. Maybe unrelated but the seat bottom won't tilt/pitch up or down.

Couldn't figure why seat heater didn't work, pass side did. Then one day, with my intermittent sunroof leak, the drivers chair was soaked. So I'm thinking that's the culprit.

I've looked at the forum, only way to get a new element is to tear down the seat correct?

Also, yes I know, I should fix this intermittent leak first so I don't have a repeat (it's caused by how the window settles from opening to closing. It's lucky).

When you turn on the heated seat, does the indicator light come on? Mine didn't before I took it apart and I don't have a way to check it before it goes back together. The switches and wires run from the console to the sit, but if the light is coming on, then the element is probably not good.
