Looking to sell an unused Superwinch EP 9.0 including 85' of 3/8" synthetic Viking Trail line with safety thimble and abrasion guard. The winch was mounted on my Discovery back in 2008 for 3 months total before going into storage ever since. It was never used. The chrome connecting rods show some corrosion, but the winch was always covered while on the truck for 3-months. All parts are original except for relocating the controller outlet to the front of the solenoid box (as seen in pictures). It can be used from front or side now. Original shipping box, manual, controller, and original Superwinch roller fairlead are also included. Battery cables are missing but kits are available. I put it into free-spool and turned the drum by hand- feels stiff to turn, tight and brand new.

The EP 9.0 specs are still up on the Superwinch site. The brake is external to prevent heat from damaging synthetic lines. Specs show low amp draw compared to other 9-10k winches.

I have sold my Discovery I but now have a DII with the factory winch mount. I would love to keep this winch but it does not fit the LR genuine winch mount. LR designed the mount to fit the shorter or narrower Warn XD9000i. The EP9 is too wide.

Asking $520, free shipping, for everything including the new winch line (add $25 if shipped to west beyond CO). This kit cost close to $900 back in 2008. Local pick up in western MA is possible and I would reduce the price.
