I have a 2005 LR3. Front passenger air bag was leaking and I kept driving which stressed out the compressor causing it to burn out. A mechanic friend of mine replaced the suspension and the compressor, however, the truck is still at access height and will not lift up. can anyone help?

Anyone with any suggestions on what may be causing this and how I can fix it without spending tons at the dealer?

There must be another leak, or the compressor connectors are leaking it out.

1. Does the compressor run now?

2. Have you taken some dish soap to all the hoses, connectors, air tank, etc.

3. Any faults? Noises? Switch working? Spills in the cabin?

4. Not related, but if you do a new compressor, you should update the compressor ecu and replace the relay. If you don't have car computer, then probably your dealer should be able to do it economically.

Thanks for the info guys. The Mechanic guy had another buddy that work on foreign cars. We had to update the software after replacing the compressor. Truck raised and is now running fine. The guy charged me 180.00 to do this (2hrs labor he said). Thanks!!
