if anyone hasnt discovered them Bit Torrent allows you to get downloads of shows aired in the UK and other places.

Thats right you can get Top gear episodes now without waiting two years for them.

you have to download a bit torrent client, such as bittornado or azureus. http://azureus.sourceforge.net/ or http://www.bittornado.com/ . Azureus is easie to use but takes up more system resources. Anyway, get the client, install it, then go find some torrents. Go to www.thepiratebay.org or http://www.bitenova.org/. Find what you want, and download the torrent file. Then open the torrent file and your client should take care of the rest. It's really not hard, unless you have a router and need to port forward, then it can be a pain in the ass.

got the file and d/led it with bittornado, the question is, how do i open the file? do i need different player than Real Player or Divx or WMP?

no you dont. Once its completely downloaded at 100 percent you can open the file and then it will prompt you to your regular files on your computer. Choose the bit torrent one and then it should open up fine.
