I have a ticking noise coming from under the glove box area when the heat is on. Anyone know what this could be? Any way to fix it?

Maybe something inside the blower motor. Does the increase with the fan speed?

i am not sure if it increases but it gets louder. i will check when i go out in a bit to see if it increases at all but i am pretty sure it just gets louder.

Have you even looked under the dash ti determine if it is the blower motor or the engine?

Remove the 3 bolts holding the blower motor into the blower housing (passenger footwell), remove the blower motor. Clean out the leaves and all kinds of other gunk that's been sucked in there.

No more ticking.

Sure sounds like if it is from under the dash? .... Leaves or paper or the like in the fan motor.
Pull it down and check it out. Spin the fan by hand while it is out and disconnected and be sure that it spins smoothly and easily

Alright sounds good ill pull it out tomorrow. I was in there listening last night and i think it is coming from the blower motor. Hopefully it is an easy fix.

Dumped a large amount of leaves out of the blower motor. Seems for now that that was the issue. Have not heard the ticking all day.
