I'm going to replace my tires on my 97 Discovery. Currently I have Michelins, but can I go a bit less expensive and get same size tires in another brand? I just street drive. Thanks, Michele
Michele,
I'd go to the Tire Rack and play around with what you can find in your size (www.tirerack.com). If you only drive on the street, I've heard good things about the Michelin Cross Terrain, but I have no personal experience.
I'm becoming a fan of Kumho tires. I have a set of Venture MTs on the Rover...very nice, great traction and only $90 each in 235/85/16. I'd check to see what they make in a highway rib. I'm going to put their tires on my daily driver Civic come springtime...
