I keep a small tool kit in the truck, sockets, ratchets, wrenches, vice grips, pliers, screwdrivers. I also bring along an electric multimeter, flashlight, spare oil, gear oil and my high lift. I carry spare ignition parts, sandpaper, a fan belt and spare rear axle shafts...

At home the tool selection is more extensive, mostly more sizes other than the stuff that's in the truck.

Ooh, one of those hub nut sockets is useful as well as a socket for the starter dog. A good size breaker bar is necessary as well. I also have one of those pressurized hydraulic bleeders...sheesh, there might not be an end...

Bogatyr - you best get that 109 going soon just to carry you kit!....just kidding....

I intend to go and spend some money on some tools this weekend, at the moment I have a bag in the back of my swb that has:
old spanner set (a few missing)
duck tape
multi screw driver
jump leads
green bible (it arrived!)
WD40
Pliers
Torch.
