The other night I was watching Speed channel and a show came on Top Gear. It is a british car show like Car and Driver. They were testing a Bowler Tomcat and that thing was amazing. 0 to 60 times were under 5 sec. and it will go anywhere. The guy that was testing the car said that is the most fun he has ever had testing a car. I can't believe the punishment that Tomcat was taking and it didn't even phase it. I think the price tag was $90k to $100k way out of my price range but I would like to have one. One can always dream.

The presenter in the Bowler was a chap called Richard Hammond. This is a top show over here-very entertaining. They do some wacky stunts as well as car tests. Last week they jumped a stretched Lincoln Towncar over a wedding party and in an earlier show they tried to see how many bikes you could jump in a double decker bus! And yes I did type that correctly!

Or try This link to see Jeremy Clarkson, one of the shows other presenters, in an unusual race.

He races a Ford Focus, in a Range Rover pulling a trailer with a Ford Focus on it-And wins! www.overfinch.com
I like Clarkson. He tells it like it is and bugger what the Politicians/Political correctness etc think.

Oh yeah, I see these Bowlers out on the road quite regularly. The are built up the road from me in Derbyshire. You cannot believe how fast these things are and the noise from the tuned V8 is amazing.

Err...

Might find it a bit tricky sneaking off with a whacking great 4x4 with bright yellow tiger stripes and an eight into f**k all exhaust lol. Oh and I think Drew, the company owner/builder has a shotgun license! Kinda puts you off when you might end up looking down the dangerous end of a 12 bore!

They cost about 50,000 UK pounds to buy in top spec. But what you would get is a vehicle you buy on the Monday and race in the Paris Dakar on Tuesday. And you'd be fairly competetive!
