Just giving everyone a heads up on replacing there TPMS's, the original ones that came with your rover prior to 09 I believe have the aluminum valve stems which some people have complained about the valve stem itself shattering trying to remove the stem cap. I recently had this exact same issue and every where I called they wanted anywhere from 120.00 to 175.00 to replace and reprogram a new sensor. I just found this and it is possible to just replace the stem itself and NOT the entire TPMS. Just about any tire shop can install this for you at a fraction of the cost without reprogramming. You may be able to find this else where but as of yet I have had no luck.
