I have a 95 LWB, and the transmission will only go reverse not forward, does anyone has any idea why? How much does it cost if I want it rebuild, or replace? Thank you.

I took mine to my local Cottman's Transmission.
I laid out 899$(US) for a new torque converter and a seal.

I still had all my forward gears though.

Should I get it to some transmission or LR specialist? I have a mix feeling to AMMCO, due to past experience. How much does it cost to have it rebuild, since I have my LWB for a short time.

Time may have just gotten shorter..........sorry to hear your troubles.

You're probably looking at $1000-$1500 to rebuild that ZF4HP24...The good news is that tranny has been in a lot of different vehicles since the mid 80's, so most shops should be able to rebuild it, successfully!
