I am gradualy killing off all the little electrical gremlins in my 97 Disco 1. Next up is my delay wiper issue. If I turn the switch to delay, the wipers will sweap up to the far end of the pass and stop. Wipers work fine on slow and fast constant on mode, just not delay. Is there electical contacts in the motor assembly that need cleaned ect or is this just a plug & play replacement? If so anybody have a cheap used wipermotor assembly? I am a storm spotter for the NWS in my county, so delay wipers tend to come in handy when its not raining hard and your jockeying driving, talking on the ham radio and wipers! Thanks in advance.
