Hello All:
I've kept my '03 Disco pristine, but alas at 220K miles both oil & antifreeze have begun leaking from block.
Questions:
1. Pro/Con of buying remanufactured vs. new engine?
2. Where to buy from?
3. I am NOT mechanically gifted, hence engine replacement will be done at a professional shop. There are zero techs in Rochester, NY who want to touch these trucks-----Truly appreciate any names of shops within a 4-6 hour radius of here (excluding NYC).

Why would you replace the engine if it's leaking? Reseal it and be on your way

I have a 2004 Disco and have been going to Authorized Imported Car, LLC (jagshop.com) for the last 3 years. Thankfully, I haven't had to do anything particularly tricky, but I've only had good experiences with George, John and the rest of the team.
